Coding/BillingAre you sure that you and your staff are correctly coding your medical services to comply with payors’ guidelines? We can help you avoid incorrect coding and reimbursement. We can provide you with the tools to track your coding patterns and reduce the risk of an audit due to over-coding, or lost revenue due to under-coding. Our professional coders will review your coding and medical record documentation to determine whether your practice is following payors’ guidelines for appropriate billing. The coding and billing analysis will include evaluation of CPT and ICD-9 coding, documentation, and review billing documents such as encounter forms, claims, and the corresponding explanations of benefits. Ten patient records per provider representing a mix of payors would be used for the reviews. Recommendations and training to address any problems will be included in a written report and presented to the providers and appropriate staff. |
